Believe me, chicks dig em'. You've got real nice shoes, might as well show them off.

Good price on some Marlow Wingtip's here. Shame about the shipping cost but ultimately still a decent deal.

Oh, and I'm in no way affiliated with the auction.

there is a used one with starting bid at 250, I would take that instead (assuming it's someone's size...). Marlow's price does take quite a beating compare to used Alden though, and looks like Marlow's PTB price is generally speaking cheaper than Marlow wingtip as well.

I posted this in the non-Alden thread, but I figure you guys are better qualified than essentially anyone on this site to be the judge of this.

Are these Shell?

Hard to tell, but I'm leaning towards yes.

They look a lot like Marlow Pennies. Were they ever made in calf?

I'm sure C&J made similar in calf?

Looks like shell to me. Non shell usually has more defined wrinkle lines in the creases, IMO.

I didn't think they currently made full strap penny loafers like that for anyone other than RL certainly there's nothing like it on their site. The only example I could find was the Jersey which looks very different to that loafer.
