You won't ever need them to. Just keep replacing the topy.

Lindricks arrived today.  Very pleased I sized down a half, TTS would be just too large in this makeup.  These look to be built for a lifetime!  No to recess tip or just go with the temporary plastic jobs till the sole breaks in... Special shout out to NAMOR for his sizing insights.  Perfect fit.  9D.

Awesome man. I happen to be wearing mine right now. Also, sf'er eddieveddr10 is selling a horde of BBBF pebble grained boots for $250. Also great stuff at an even better price

I bought some off Eddie. Great boot for a great price. FWIW, mine are leather soled and not a captoe.

RL Cordovan C&J Marlow Fit Analysis

9.5D/Eish

#72 Tassel Marlow 8.5D.  This last runs longer than the Penny Loafer and hence sized down for a tight loafer fit with zero heel slip.  9D had way too much slip. Very tight now narrow wise and some length wise; but these loosen up a half size over the years because of the low vamp. They've already stretched some with the athletic sock on the shoe tree trick.  Zero slip. At least all my BB Cordovan Tassels have and always opened up and wished I'd gone down 1 full size TTS.

#314 Penny Marlow 9D.  Tight at first but they are molding very nicely by now and are a great fit with zero heel slip.  Again, these over the years like the LHS's will open up.  I love the design and the strap keeps this shoe very comfortable.

#341 PTB Marlow 9.5D Clearly my favorite Derby.  The narrow toe box calls for TTS 9.5D for my foot. Very slight slip as they are super new. Initially, I had this shoe in 9D and the toe box was just too tight.  This for me is ever so slightly shorter and narrower than it's cousin the 325 Shortwing Marlow.  This along with the Lindrick is the most appealing to my eye.  These are sick good looking, jeans, chino, whatever.

#325 Shortwing Marlow 9.5D.  Slips the most but comfy lazy fit. I have this shoe TTS at 9.5D and it's longer and wider than the PTB on my foot.  Could go 9D and may try to engineer a swap.

#325 Lindrick Marlow  9D. Fits very well, I think the boot runs maybe a tiny tiny bit longer than the Shortwing.

This is my RL Cordovan Marlow line fit take.  Thought it might help as so much has been penned on this subject.  My 2 cents....

I have a low volume foot, ectomorph for reference and Morton's Foot (longer index toe).

It looks as if Neiman Marcus is stocking a C&J for Ralph Lauren cordovan penny loafer model. I believe it's called the Prescott.

The Ralph Lauren site doesn't list this and I haven't seen it in any stores I have been in.

If you read through the thread, that is what everyone is referring to as the Marlow penny loafer.
