I just aim to get the belt colour somewhat close so I wear a Bexley Ramsgate Silver belt in granulate chocolate and so far it's worked out well.

Do they still make or sell any of the chukka or boot models or are we stuck with Marlowes? I know they still make PTB's but they never make it onto the website, for example.

Thanks for the link. I have a few brown belts but not sure how they will match

Last November the Marlows arrived to 300$ during the public sale, with a bigger discount plus a kicker. (Total 62% off)
Probably unrepeatable price.

Is it likely that Marlows will go from 30+15% to 40+15% as the sale draws closer to the end? Or do you think 30+15% is the final discount on the Marlows?

I've been through a couple of these and think not (but possible). However, maybe a more important question is - will your size still be around if it does? If you're serious and you've got the float, I'd buy now and sit on 'em (as hard as that is to do) and see if they discount further - then you can either pick up a new pair and return the first or, possibly, get CS or an SA to save the return and credit you the difference.

This is the point.

A trick is to add to cart your size and next change the quantity to a big number like 100 units to see how many pairs are available.

code works for the three models of marlow shells they have available (4 if you include black version and did anyone confirm or deny whether the blacks are shell or not?)
but yeah its 505 which is a good deal but not great in comparison when we all got for 300-400 last round
so im passing for now. if anyoen wants my code ill share it first come first serve

Yea, that 300-400 price was pretty good, took up back to a couple years ago's pricing.

The current sale now reflects the increase in price in retail from $795 to $850.

The wingtips are fantastic and get better with age. Unfortunately, the 325 last doesn't agree with my slightly wide feet so I have a 10D pair sitting idle.

Thanks for the advice. As I live in Norway I have to use a proxy service to get the shoes, so it would definitely not be worth the hazzle to save a hundred bucks, just to pay for extra shipping.

EDIT: Could one of you gentlemen who have gotten the 30+15% codes but are not in need of them give me one? That would be greatly appreciated shog[1].gif

If you're by a store I'd just buy another pair at additional discount and try to exchange for my size

Me too, if anyone can PM me a code they are not using, I'd sure appreciate it.
