But they don't seem to be on sale anymore.
Anyway, my penny loafers just arrived. I thought it fits well.

did u sized down?

I didn't even though I wouldmhave like to. I am usually a US7, which is the smallest size for the loafers. So I decided to take a risk with it.

Speaking of Lindrick, its listed as a sales item online. Does that mean its being discounted? btw, the only size left at this point is a 11.5D
(paging Patek)

Says $659

Maybe because there are so few left.

RL should give the posters in this thread a little dividend...

These Loafers have tricky sizing, after reading "stay TTS or sizing down" I have chosen a 9 of Penny.

I have Uk 8.25/8.5 and the 9d is absolutely small! surely also a 9.5 would be small.

Is it possible that my size in this shoe is 10D ?!?

Thanks

Some people's feet are not made for loafers, no matter the size and last.

It is strange, I own many kind of loafers and never had problem with size and fit.

I think that the point with these is that they are narrow and very stiff.

Probably I have UK 9 in this last, converted (adding one full size) to US 10

and not UK 8.5 converted adding half size to US 9 as I thought...

Yeah; was wondering about this. I've got my sized-down pennies coming on Monday, so think that'll settle it for me.

I'm with you with the weird sizing on these damn loafers. I tried a pair of 8.5D's and the toebox was way too cramped in addition to a tight heel that would probably cause some pain/bleeding. Im usually TTS 8.5D in everything including most loafers. So I sold those, and once the sale rolled around I happily purchased a 9D only to find out the toebox was still cramped and I had so much heel slip that they were unwerable! Looks like these aren't for me :( :'(

Probably the 314 last in G widht offers a better fit.

If I understand well, problem for many people is that the correct size in lenght is small in width, correct size in widht is long in lenght.

314 is a short last with narrow toe box. Me no big fan. Anyone know which last the tassel is made on? its a bit longer than the 314 and fits my foot better

Must be on the 325. As that is the last used for the cordovan tassle loafer in C&J's regular offerings.

Basically they only have two lasts in their catalog for shell loafers 314 and 325.

Here's this years catalog.

You know they didn't develop a new last just for RL so it's gotta be one of these.

I bought of pair of Finsburys on the 341 last while I was in London this week. Is this the same last as the Lindrick?

The last of the tassel isn't the 325 (cavendish) or the 72 (langham), the toe profile, the curve of the toe is different.
325 is totally different, is a generous blucher last, 72 have a more classic rounded toe compared to Darlton tassel.

325:

I think that like the 240 last for Peal & Co., the last of tassel doesn't have a corrispondent in the actual C&J catalogue, and is a RL choice from the factory C&J last range.
