The Official Tweed Appreciation Thread - Page 53

ROFLMAO!  Now all I need is money . . .

I really like this tweed (or probably flannel - but it's in keeping with the thread) windowpane jacket, what colour trousers do you think would go well with this?

I was thinking of finally getting some light grey flannel pants, and chocolate brown cords would look good, any other ideas chaps?

The windowpane appears to be grey.

Dark grey or cream. Different coloured cords etc.

Ah yes I am looking to get some winter white flannel pants this year from Howard Yount, to go with a check tweed jacket and also a grey herringbone jacket, like this:

What particular colour of cords do you think would look good Ich Dien?

Racing green would look nice with that jacket I think.

Do you mean with the blue window pane, or the brown check jacket?

Does anyone know of any good places to get simple tweed jacket in England? I'm studying in Oxford in the fall and I'd like to get one reasonably priced but not too cheap if I could.

Oxfam. Seriously.

Budget? In Oxford, you could look at Ede & Ravenscroft, Shepherd & Woodward and Walters for RTW and the Ballroom near Magdalen College for vintage. Also, there's a tailor in Woodstock, Cotswold Tailors, just outside town, for MTM. If you have some form of transport, you could also consider Bookster.
