The Official Tweed Appreciation Thread - Page 176

This morning.
Maybe a little early in the year.
Thrifted sport coat from DAKS.
New Cordings waistcoat from their summer sale.
Tweed tie by Kevin & Howlin of Dublin.

Button down shirt a little out of place perhaps.

DAKS

Bought it in an antique shop.

Was missing a button but I emailed DAKS and they sent me a selection of matching ones free of charge.

Elbow patches would be a shame. But that tweed is a beautiful color.

Hello gents. I'm in the market for a 3 piece tweed suit to serve two purposes. First is as a Halloween costume (Peaky Blinders for those who watch the show) and second is as a suit for my sisters wedding. It doesn't have to be vintage but it can be.

I'd like to pick one up for under 400 if possible....pushing it I know.

Does anyone know a good place to get one in California or online? I'm in SF.

Thanks!

Very sharp exhibiting what I called the Moilloy "vibe" you don't see for instance in other Donegals like Magee.
