I love this coat inlove.gif

Anyone know where to find one?

Harris Tweed bags like the one in the photo were fashionable last year in Japan. I think they're pretty tacky...

I agree.  Definitely not something I'd be quickly adding to my ensemble.

Worth qualifying this comment. Our delivery times vary according to how busy we are, and if as in this customers case it is a special / unique order it can take longer and is more difficult to give an exact delivery date. Deadlines that we agree to such as for weddings, civil partnerships or whatever are guaranteed. We would rather turn any order down than disappoint..We can't run Bookster like an offshore 'MTM' operation with cheap labour, our team is highly skilled and cannot rush any part of our processes. Thats what you are buying into when you join our 'club'. We should charge twice as much for what we do but we like to be affordable.smile.gif

I have a question, after ordering over 30 samples, I still haven't found the perfect tweed from your cloth book. I am looking for something in brown, but most of the browns I ordered have a little bit too much green in them. I will probably end up ordering more swatches, but could you give me some recommendations for brown tweed cloth with no hints of green in them?

Another question to Bookster... Can we purchase Harris Tweeds from other sources and have you guys make up the jackets? Please advise.

I'm not Bookster, but can answer a yes. I have even asked them, for my most recent order, to purchase some Harris Tweed from HFW for me and had them make up my jacket. I'm almost certain they'll allow you to bring fabric.

This is correct, we have always been happy to make from customers own cloths
