As I said earlier, I am looking for a sport coat similar to the one in the spoiler.

I have found this one on eBay, and would be interested in opinions, yay, nay?

Also, if anyone has a 42 reg in similar cloth, they are willing to part with, let me know, I am in the market, as it were.

Just a heads up that 42R appears a lot more like a 40R. 18" shoulder to shoulder sounds awfully small for a 42.

My best fitting jackets have an 18.5 inch shoulder, so I thought this one might be close. I was a little concerned about the measurements, as well as the potentially out of date styling.

This jacket would fit really well into my wardrobe and I have a feeling the length would fit me better than it does modeled in this picture.

It's a great jacket, and fortunately it's easy to find one just like it (if you don't know, try Brooks Brothers, or else anyone will have the fabric).

A shot from the Sartorialist some months ago. Not menswear, but I thought it might still be appreciated...

Sartorialist Tweed

A couple from Substantive Style:

Red and White Herringbone Tweed

Green Glen Plaid

I'll post some more images that I've saved from various sources later.

Love that red one.  Would never have thought of a reddish hue on a sportcoat.

Agreed.  I'd probably shit my pants if I saw this at a bus stop.
