Hi All,

I have a Harris tweed blazer that I need some advice on, please see attached.

I plan to purchase a brick orange grenadine tie to go with the jacket to pick out the tint of orange/rust that is in the pattern, however, I am unsure what trousers would look good.

I was thinking a dark green pair of brushed cotton trousers and a brown or tan pair of brogues would be quite nice.

Thoughts?

Regards,

Stephen

Forest green or olive trousers would be just fine and medium grey wouldn't be bad, either.  Nice coat.

+1

Dark tan/light brown flannels might also work nicely.

Thanks guys! Bit off topic but do you know where I can get a nice pair of tailored/slim fitting brown brushed cotton trousers?

I have seen these but do not really want to pay that much!

I found this company but alas no brown.

Austin Reed also have some. They have exactly what I am after in blazer form but no trousers.

a textured grey pair of trousers, definately

A bit off topic but where can I get a decent pair of heavier brown brushed cotton trousers that don't cost £300 (like on Mr Porter)?

By brushed cotton do you mean moleskin?  Try http://www.pakeman.co.uk/category/127/Moleskin_Trousers  Other huntin' fishin' shootin' country outfitters will have them as well, like http://www.aidansweeney.co.uk/ or http://www.ahume.co.uk/

Hey guys....I need some bow-tie advice. I've got the bones of my wedding outfit built, shown here:

My last issue now is finding a bow-tie. I'm planning on using thetiebar.com for the bow-tie, and I've picked out a handful that I like. However, I would love to hear feedback, since I am decidely a neophyte at this sort of stuff. If there are any other bow-ties on the site that you think would work better that I have missed, let me know.

last notes: my fiancee is wearing a champagne dress and the bridesmaids are in dusty rose and shale.

thanks in advance!
