^ do those have side vents or a single vent?

One has single vent, the other is non vented.
However if you search twin vents / double vents on website it will bring up any that are as there are a number of them.

Heres a nice a tweed jacket that has side vents :

Lambswool washable tweed jacket (Barbour):

Available from Orvis for $799.00

Used to own one of these myself...fit is massive. It's for shooting really, not galavanting. It's funny watching all the fanboyz jump on Barbour at the moment. These are clothes meant for farmers and gamekeepers; the quality is to match.

If any of these interest you, please investigate my Polo MTM tweed megathread that went up this morning.

The thread includes five tweed sport coats(one with matching vest), two coordinating tweed vests, and other items.

Don't know if this has been posted yet:

Baracuta Harrington in Harris Tweed. Perhaps not SF approved, but I like it.

This is unbelievable. Ive never seen anything like this before.

Me, either. The only word I can come up with is . . . unique.

To keep to the subject, anyone in the Los Angeles area is invited to the Second Annual Los Angeles Tweed Pub Crawl this coming Thursday at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel on Pershing Square. Meet in the bar at 8:00 p.m. with whatever tweed you want to show off. Handlebar mustaches and pipes are optional.

Tweed on Campus

(Coat was made in 1955! Fred was made in 1953!)

Wish the original gray buttons were still intact,
but alas (like me) they succumbed to dry-rot.
(Actually, in my case, gin-rot.)

Close-up of the fabric.

Anyone have any suggestions on what pant, shirt and tie combo I can wear with this jacket? I know that it goes with everything but I'm still having a difficult time picturing what would appropriate to wear to work. I'm having the most difficult time finding a tie.

That looks like a pretty adaptable tweed, Cuttingboard. You could go simple with medium or dark gray flannel trousers, a blue shirt with a small pattern (micro-houndstooth, mini-tattersall, graph paper check, etc.), and matte tie in grenadine (as Beatlegeuse suggested), wool, cashmere, or even a twill silk as long as it wasn't too shiny. A nice, muted silk square in a moghul pattern or similar would also go nicely.

Yesterday's shirt and tie with that SAME jacket: blue and white bengal stripe shirt + air force blue Drakes polka dot tie. It was smashing!

Inspired (in part) by this fit posted by The Sart recently:
