Seiko Watch Repair - Any experience??

Wise men,
I need to get a Seiko World Timer repaired. I was planning on sending it to the Seiko facility on the east coast. Has anyone dealt with them before? If not, does anyone know of a decent watch repair guy who can work on Seikos? I have had no luck lately finding someone. Thanks.

Yes, I have done this with a vintage Seiko that was handed down to me from my father. I just wrote a note indicating what sort of repairs were required and sent it to the address. They telephoned me a few weeks later providing a quote and requesting a CC number to charge the repairs. The repaired product was returned to me a few weeks later. I can't recall exactly what the turnaround was, but I would guess it was in the 4-6 week range.

Hope this helps!

Thank you Thrister- sounds like it went smoothly. I will get the ball rolling on this. Nice to know that they are working on vintage watches - I contacted one guy who would not work on this vintage watch (it was too old!)
