Problems Ordering from Companies Overseas

I have been trying to inquire about and perhaps order an item, pending shipping costs, from a Spanish store named Lander Urquijo for a week-and-half. Anyone familiar with this store? Have you had success ordering from them either in the U.S. or Europe? You are asked to submit questions, but I receive no replies. I'm in the U.S. and would rather not incur the cost of a phone call. It shouldn't be necessary. What to do? I find that some countries have the e-commerce thing down better than others.

Those guys? At least that website doesn't seem to mention doing ecommerce.

Agree they certainly do not offer any on line service - a matter entirely for them.

Yeah, but I did read somewhere that if you contact them, they will process and send you stuff. Supposedly they have a different model. Even so, they could reply. It always astonishes me when retailers act like they don't need your business. My wife runs her own business. She can't afford to act that way.

probably, you have sent the requests during siesta hours, which is a big no no and brings you on their black list.

Not to bash, but happens to be true. The one and only time I visited Spain (lovely country) I missed my bus to the Alhambra. When I inquired about the next one, I was told that there is no set schedule. I never did get there. I regret that.

They may or may not have an english speaking staff, but I think it's worth calling international to save some of your frustrations (possibly for many more days and weeks to come)

I have had same problems with email with European brands (namely certain French shoes brand), had to use google translate and so one.....very spotty replies (if any).

So I called them, there was a English speaking staff, and everything was settled quick and accurately.

THEN they used the French Chronopost to deliver my package from France to Taiwan.....package got stuck somewhere in between, and Chronopost has no English speaking phone/hotline to help me.....well that's another story
