Hello, everyone. I've got a question involving a wardrobe investment.
I'm 43 years old and coming from an IT background. I'm going to start an MBA program in New York next year and I'm moving into management.
I've got two dark suits (Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger) and one light suit (Calvin Klein), all are in pristine condition. I've got at least five blazers and some nice slacks. I've got about 8 dress shirts in good shape, a navy blue blazer and a pair black and brown leather-soled oxfords from Johnston & Murphy.
I only have two watches, a Timex with a black leather band and a Citizen chronograph with an olive military band.
I'm thinking that it might be time to invest some money into my wardrobe, and I'm thinking that a new watch might be a good place to start. I should have around $2-3,000 to invest. Do you guys think a watch is the best place to put the investment?
If so, what are some recommendations for a watch? Or two?
Thanks,
Jon
