if my nudie japanese denim shrinks 2 inches when they get washed, and i fit back into them to only need stretching 1 inch or maybe none inch, will they still have the form factor like before or will they easily bag out from the 'give' i created when i was bigger?
thanks alot

well they did stretch out 2 inches from wear, so im right in thinking they'll shrink back 2 inches? but its not the shrinking in question here. sorry if i caused a confusion. im wondering about the 'memory' of the fabric, so to speak. like say if the waist/thighs are stretched to a certain point by a lard ass, washed, then put on by a skinny person, would the fabric be weakened to the point that it just stretches right back out to the maximum it was ever stretched, even without strain in any areas? , or would it simply shrink to tagged size from the wash, then retain its strong weave to form to the user's body like when they were brand new?

i just want to know if i should be pissed off or not that i didnt wait a month and order some 30s instead of the 32s.

you will be fine. a belt will control any stretching.
