What to wear when clubbing?

I was wondering if anyone of you could give me some ideas of what to wear clubbing in NYC and DC clubs.  Suggestions, discussions, and even pictures would be great.  

 

I'm never quite sure what to wear, but I typically go with nicer raw denim or chinos, an OCBD, sometimes a tie, and a blazer.

I usually wear jorts and a mesh shirt with my nipples poking through. But hey, I only leave the club with 3-5 women a night, so don't take my word for it.

What kind of clubs are you looking at?

And, out of curiosity, what TKE chapter are you from?

I don't really know how to answer what kinds of clubs, but I guess typical DC (mostly) clubs.  If any of you are familiar with the DC area I can name a few clubs.  Lotus, Current, Josephines, etc.

 

I am in the Upsilon Omicron chapter.

Because it's SF my friend. Honestly, I'd just google it. Nothing wrong with jeans a button down shirt and a sport jacket.
