Not sure which sub forum to put this in but trying to get some new winter snowboarding apparel and not sure what to go with, all of the stuff seems to be priced very similarly across brands... my first toughts are go with a company like Northface, Marmot, etc. that specializes in cold weather gear.
Other option is to go with a snowboard makers gear like Burton, Ride, etc. However here I think the apparel is just a side thing for them, in which they slap their name on it, focusing most of the attention to the board manufactuing, boots, bindings, etc.
Looking to be between $150-$225 for pants, $275-$350 for jacket, $50-$75 for gloves/mitts...
