Recommend my next sport coat

I only own two summer-weight sport coats and I think I’d like a third. I own this one in navy cotton…

…and this one in dove-gray silk and linen with herringbone weave.

What should be my third – and probably last – summer-weight jacket? I’m looking for something classic and versatile.

How about an unlined cotton khaki jacket? Or maybe something with a pattern since your other two appear to be solid colors.

Blue, a shade light than navy, either with some mohair in it or a fresco.

You didn't ask but that dove grey jacket is not really a jacket.

Is there a more accurate term for that particular garment, Ed, or are you just h8in' on it (again)? I already know you're not a fan.

Do you find you really like the cotton jacket you've already got? I don't know about everyone else but I find cotton jackets to be much less comfortable to wear than linen or fresco.

I think Ed's on the right track, though I'll go ahead and endorse the straight-up navy blazer in summer-weight wool. It can go most anywhere. Maybe with MOP buttons to suit the season.
