I just bought this olive shawl cardigan (linen/cotton mixture) off Ebay. The seller listed the cardigan as a Spring/Summer 2011 Collection item - but I'm pretty sure that's bs. Does anyone own the item or know what season it was made for? I'm mainly trying to validate that it's both authentic and not a factory outlet item.

Assuming the care tag inside on your lower left wasn't cut off, it will indicate the season on there (e.g., SU 04 = summer 2004).

You can tell whether it's a factory outlet item by looking at the inside label. Two diamonds underneath the J. Crew on the label indicate that it's a factory outlet item.
