Tom Selleck

I think "Blue Bloods" is a great show, and I think Tom Selleck is tremendous, but why on earth does he need dyed hair? At 66 I assume the actor should have some gray; I'm assuming the black is artificial and surely does not add to the character's appearance or believability. Does anyone think he looks good without gray? Just makes his mustache look sillier and facial expressions look funny in some scenes.

Does anyone think the dyed hair looks good?

There's always one.... I looked down the StyleForum list and found this forum the closest to the topic. Many, many years ago (ca. 1963) I wrote to Ann Landers asking her opionion about women and girls bleaching their hair, and she responded that is not within the scope of her column....

In any case, would someone, please, like to respond on topic?

Tom Selleck's moustache makes every movie better...

... and might just be awesome enough to rescue this thread.

I find that the Tom Selleck mustache is usually the best part of any outfit.

There are some people who still have black hair in their 60's.

As one who possesses an abundant thoracic mat,
I can tell you that it grays as well.

Have you considered a Chest Merkin for yourself?

Oh, I possess some early stages of Selleckness. Not quite as heavy as that, and not grey, but I am a keeper of the manfur.

Magnum PI is still my go-to Halloween Costume in a pinch. It always works.

Because his role is a guy with dyed hair? This is like asking why all TV werewolves are hairy. Why all homeless drunks are dirty . Etc.

A better question is why do people look to TV/films to complain about fashion/style etc? TV/Films are normally a reflection of the world not the other way around.
