Slim navy blazer

Any one have ideas on where to purchase a slim navy blazer at around the $300 mark? I've been to brooks brothers and their blazers are too conservatively cut for my frame. I'm 6'1" and have a slender build. I don't know if this makes sense, but I'm looking for a european cut.

I've checked out suitsupply.com and found a potential purchase, but it has double vents and that may be pushing it a bit for my office environment.

I'm more than positive that I'll be getting any purchase taken in by a tailor, so as long as it's slim from the get-go and fits decently well, I'll be happy.

Any suggestions are much appreciated!

I bought the very slim Polo II made in Italy by Corneliani from a forum member for $240 and it couldn't be more perfect for me. Obviously retail is quadruple what you want to pay but if you look around here and on Ebay, that's a good option.

Is Corneliani known for its slimmer cuts? I'm just starting to venture into building a more 'mature' wardrobe (growing out of hoodies, t shirts, jeans) so I'm not all too familiar with the different MC brands.

Your more fashion forward trendy designer labels tend to make slimmer suits like Gucci, D&G, and the like (and be very European). However they tend to run for a premium higher than your price point. You could try retailers like H&M or J.Crew possibly, just my 2 cents.

Yeah.. I've been noticing that. I found some decent looking j crew blazers online, but I doubt they're as slim as they're portrayed to be online.. Going to the mall to check some out and will report back!

FWIW, I own a Ludlow fit JCrew Blazer and a Suit Supply suit in the same size...I had to make a slight nip to the JCrew waist but didn't touch the Suit Supply jacket.
