Handkerchief in slanted breast pocket?

Is it in any way contrary to convention to wear a handkerchief in a slanted breast pocket? Assuming that it isn't one of those things that is NOT done, how is it best (read: simplest) to do so?

here's a nice example of someone thinking outside the box on their pocket square:

467

i personally also think the 100-dollar-bill in the pocket looks quite charming.

Not always. Some are cut straight, others at an angle. An open patch breast pocket can also vary in curvature, angle, etc.

Sometimes they're shaped like little boats. In which case, the pocket square should surely be folded to resemble a sail.
