Shrinking suede gloves?

I bought a pair of suede gloves online last year and they're a bit big for my hand. I noticed they shrank a little once when they got wet. They looked terrible after getting wet, but using a suede eraser and brush I restored them. Would it be crazy to try turning them inside out, soaking them in hot water (or even steam?) and then putting them in the dryer to shrink them?

This sounds like a recipe for disaster.

NO !! My suede gloves got wet throwing snowballs with the kids wife decided in her wisdom to dry them on a radiator facepalm.gif Upshot was the gloves wouldnt even fit my then 7 yr old son. Shrank beyond recognition.....never ever force dry any form of leather !!!
