Fixing an expensive suit's worn out suit pants

I have an Isaia suit that fits perfectly. It's a few years old. The pants have started to fray a little at the pocket seams, and there is a noticable hole by the crotch area.

What are my options to fix the pants? The jacket shows no wear, and it would be a shame to get rid of a really nice suit.

Thanks in advance.

Provided the hole in the crotch area is not huge, you can definitely have the pants patched by a tailor. The result will be better if you have any original fabric left, for example if the pants were shortened for you and you have that fabric stored. I have applied this to one suit and the patch wasn't visible externally really. I guess the suit's life was lengthened by a couple of years until the pants gave up again.

Just my two cents.

This is why any good alterations tailor will always give back to you anything he chopped off from the trousers when altering them.

They can make good patches and the fibers can be used for reweaving.

On many woolens a good reweaver can make repairs imperceptable. It's a bit expensive - but if the damage is in a very noticable location it's much cheaper than replacing the garment.
