I'm about 6'1, something of a 43 or 44 chest, and 16.5 or 17 collar, The problem is loooong arms - with dress shirts I need a 38", usually a 38-39 or one of the 37s in a bigger chest size so that there is enough fabric to get down to the wrists. Overall I've been able to find enough dress shirts because sleeve length usually is specified, or shirts can be custom ordered relatively affordably. However with sweaters, this is always a problem.
I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on nice sweaters (thinking $150-200 range) in either nice wool or cashmere or a blend, that works with very long arms. To date, I've limited all my sweater purchases to in-store where I can try them on. I'd be more willing to take my chances online with brands that tend to run long in the sleeves.
