It's a modern fit. Slim w room to layer. Not too roomy. They did a good job w the fit especially the hood

I'm 5'8", 170 lbs, athletic build because I lift, around 40" chest, 32" waist. You think a small would be good or a medium?

Personally I would go with a medium, maybe a large. I'm 6'1" 175 lb w a 41.5" chest. The large I have fits perfectly with a sweater underneath. Bear in mind these things are made for tall people too but if I were you I'd try a medium

This is always subjective, but I'll add my two cents since I have similar dimensions - I'm 5'8", about 172, 41 chest, 33 waist. I went with a small Stockholm after first trying on a medium that was a bit too roomy for me. The cut is modern and slim, but not aggressively so. I typically wear an undershirt, a button down, and some kind of light sweater underneath. I like my stuff to look tailored, but never tight -- I'm hyper-sensitive to looking like a stuffed-sausage in my clothing, particularly as I age. The small fits the bill for me. NMWA carries these and has a very customer friendly return policy, so you can try for yourself without any risk. The pop-up on Lafayette may also still be open if you find yourself in NYC. Good luck.

Def. appreciate the responses guys. Axroox, looks like our build is quite similar and that's exactly why I asked the question. Seems like I'm in between getting a small or a medium. Leaning towards the small now.

fwiw I am 5'9" 175lbs and the halloween pic above is me with an M. the shoulders are right. and it has room for a knit/very thin down jacket etc. if you care to wear it in winter.

(if you get it from us (or any other store that has free shipping and returns), you can always get both and only keep the one you prefer...)
