I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I have been in search of an Army Fatigue Jacket to wear this fall/winter (I live in Dallas so I can get away with it for most of the fall and winter). I recently bought two jackets. (See pics of me wearing them.)
The one on the left is from Banana Republic for $64 on sale. Its a lighter green, made of a softer cotton, is not bulky at all and is machine washable.
The one on the right is from J. Crew for $168.00. Its bigger, made of a heavier cotton material (I think they say its reverse cut for a rougher feel), its also longer and a has more interior volume (for easy layering).
The Banana Republic jacket fits like a glove and is way more comfortable. (Probably because its made of all cotton)
But the J.Crew jacket has more of a timeless look and feel.
They both have draw strings in the waist, so they can be adjusted.
Which looks better in your opinion?
