I just moved into a new place and the closet is quite a downsize from what I had before. I'm in need of tips as how to best maximize the space I have. It's to be shared with my girlfriend. Here's what I've got:
What I'm struggling most with is where to put socks, polos, undershirts, and boxers (the folded stuff). I originally had a metal shelf up top to create a second shelf above the hanger rod but getting articles out was difficult because it was so high. A coworker suggested putting the shoe racks up top as seen in the photo, which I like, but I'm not sure how best to use the space under the hanging clothes for folded items. I don't want items to get dusty so maybe a drawer system of some sort would be great. Any tips are appreciated.
