Spa Etiquette

Thread Starter
Never been much of a spa guy till my significant other bought me a massage. Gotta say, it's pretty damn good.

Being a total newbie at it, I wasn't sure what I should be wearing under the robe and kept my boxers on.

Are guests expected to be nude underneath the bathrobe? And 2ndly, the spa had a hot tub in the mens changing/shower area. Are guys allowed to go nude in the hot tub? I always thought swimming trunks were required till some dude showed up buck naked...wasn't sure if i should have reported his ass.

Why do you think they make g-strings for men? There's a purpose for them

No there isn't. No man should ever wear a G string.

Go naked or go home.

+1 to Joffrey. It's a little odd at first (actually, it's still a little odd), but standard is a g string or similarly sized underwear. I've never seen it done before, but a jock might work if you have one.

think I've been to spas less than 5 times in my life. the ones I went to had matching loose shorts that came along with the robe. I always thought only the happy ending kind of spas are the ones where its normal to go naked.

- don't look anyone in the eye
- don't look down as you might catch a glimpse of someone's johnson
- don't attempt to make small talk
