Thinking of getting these Mezlan Pembroke slip-ons, around $160-170, on sale; made in Spain:
NOTE: when I saw these shoes in person, they were significantly lighter than they appear to be in the above photos.
questions:
a) what do y'all think of the style / construction?
b) how would they go with dark indigo selvedge straight-leg jeans (8-inch leg opening, pre-warm soak, which I intend to do)? With the jeans cuffed? Stacked? Hemmed?
c) how would they go with a charcoal or navy suit? (I know; generally, jean-shoes and suit-shoes should be two separate things; but I'm trying to get a shoe that will look decent with both.)
Keep in mind that I'm not necessarily asking if the above combinations are something you'd personally to wear...I just wanna make sure it doesn't fall into the "gross" or "laughable" category.
