Can anyone recommend a portable headphone amp?

I know we have some headphone fans here so I figured I would ask this.

Recently I purchased the Grado RS-1i headphones which I really love-they are a 32 ohm. I'd like to find a small, ideally slim, portable amp that sounds good.

What portable amps do members here own and what can you recommend?

Thanks in advance for the ideas. cheers.gif

ha. i was just thinking about one of these today as well. i'm in need of an overhaul in portable audio. my shure e2s are basically torn to shit after 6-7 years or so.

thinking about picking up some imetal 590s for in-ear and undecided on over-the-ear for home use. any ideas for a $300 budget?

as for an amp, i was looking at the Fiio E11. this is simply an amp. I might look at getting the E10, which hasn't been released yet, to use exclusively with my laptop.

I have the imetal 590s and love them. For the over the ear type, the Grado 225i and 325is are good. A lot of folks like the $150 Audio Technica M-50 as well.

Agreed...those would be for the home. Not portable in size.
