Hey all -- I'm looking for a new leather jacket and was hoping the collective good taste of this community could give me some leads and brands to explore. I'm generally fond of G-Star, but their current line up isn't doing it for me. I like Rick Owens quite a bit but can't quite stomach $3k for a jacket. $1k is as high as I'll likely go.
These reference images are fakes/knock-offs, but I like how they look and haven't found their real-brand equivalent yet. I actually bought the fake G-Star last spring (FAIL, SHAME, I know) strictly because I liked how it looked. People everywhere ask me "where'd you get that jacket?!".
In general I like detail work, but not overly crazy with 20 zippers everywhere. I realize this high-collar moto is somewhat generic nowadays, but I haven't seen a lot with the kind of detail work I like.

I'm going to just hit some stores tomorrow -- the usual suspects like Diesel, G-Star -- but am hoping to narrow some options down first, as I'm going out of town this weekend and want to save time!
