"World's Finest Cashmere"-???

So I got the newest Lands' End Men catalog today and As I was flipping thru I noticed their cashmere sweaters page which touts the above title. And I quote, "We use Inner Mongolian 100% white cashmere and plush two-ply yarns," etc... Anyone have any of these? Are they decent? At $100 they "sound" well priced.

Let's be honest. For $100 they can't be spectacular. LE normally has pretty decent quality for a good price though. Definently a step up from most department stores and the Mens Warehouses of the world.

That's a fuck sight cheaper than the Inner Mongolian cashmere we can buy here in Xilinhot, Inner Mongolia.

3,000 yuan(about $500 USD) the local Inner Mongolian cashmere shop is charging for a wafer-thin two ply Inner Mongolian cashmere jumper. I know mainland China can get gouged top prices for luxury products, but this is ridiculous.

Erdos Cashmere you know who you are!! I bet it is the very same Erdos Cashmere who supplied the cashmere for those $100 Lands' End jumpers.
