I don't get the fetishization of this book. It's a bunch of college guys largely dressed in shorts. I'm as into that period in menswear as anyone, but there are better images of the clothes widely available elsewhere.
I have a copy of the reissue. It's nice to have if your a book collector or a clothing geek, but I agree with Azzuri. Most of the good photos are posted online. The Ivy Look is much more fun and informative. Though I wish the page size were a bit larger.
I like it! So I recommend it! Don't buy it if you think it's a secret treasure chest of never-published-online style divas from the 1960’s. It's a book of cool photos of college kids looking good in classic styles.
