Vegas for bachelor party...some advice needed

I'm trying to get a bad ass night outfits. I will be there in 3 weeks!! Can you guys throw some suggestions my way... How's the weather at night? I know it's insanely hot during the day. Sports coat, nice long sleeve button down, maybe a bow tie for a night? I kinda didn't want to look like the usual long sleeve button down (not tucked in) and jeans look. It's my weekend!

Thanks

Something like this?

Seriously though, look at Sinatra and the rest of the guys, they wear tuxedos. As I recall, it's not crazy hot in the evenings (but I haven't been there since -99, so I might remember it wrong).

If you're going out clubbing and whatnot, I'd suggest a suit with either no tie or a four in hand tie (not bow tie). Unless you're wearing a tux (which I wouldn't recommend if you're going to clubs), no bowtie. Also some slick black shoes for a night out are required I think.

They do not make allowances for Vegas or nightclubs, per se. Stray from the rules and you are no longer in the territory of classic tailored clothing which, of course, you are free to do, but asking here about that is akin to asking about good steaks on a vegetarian forum.

I'm not asking for advice on what club or restaurant to go to. I would like suggestions on something nice to wear. I'm leaning towards the suit and no tie look.

Should I stay away from dark shirt colors?

I don't really understand questions like this. Have you never gone to a club before? What do you usually wear? Adjust that accordingly based on the club you are planning on going to, dress it up or down based on the venue.

My advice would be to buy a used suit; something you won't cry over if it get torn, drinks spilled on it, makeup smeared on it, set on fire, etc. You're going to a bachelor party in Vegas for christ's sake! Do you really want to be the guy in the corner wearing a bow tie and being afraid to get his clothes dirty?

Hard to say, a lot of people in LV dress like shitty tourists from Topeka because they are. Bow tie would be fun and you'd certainly be the only guy wearing one. A jacket might be warm. I'd pic the tie or the jacket but not both or someone may think you're a valet or something.

If it comes in rubber you can hose it off.

Seriously: Dress sharp: black shoes, charcoal pants, jacket, collared shirt , white ps. Or something along the lines.

You are not going to want to deal with ties. First night you will be too geeked up to get out, second night too drunk to figure it out. I wouldn't wear anything that you are particularly in love with out of your closet. Jeans, a nice shirt, and shoes get you in about anywhere in the club scene. Make sure you wear closed toed shoes as opposed to sandals. If you bring a suit jacket, expect to take it off while clubbing and leave it at the club.

On Saturday afternoon, go to O'Sheas and play beer pong and $1 100 odds craps. Its a blast, cheap (you will be in wallet shock from Friday night clubbing session), and sometimes really profitable.
