I have an old friend from high school who has moved back to Thailand and works for his parents' bespoke leather goods store.  He makes custom everything, just show him pictures and he'll custom make anything you like.  Seems the fashion for shoes in Thailand is much different than mainstream or shoes made in europe.

He's decidedly tried to venture into trying to mimic more of the mainstream prada, ferragamo, vass traditional type higher end shoes.

For his first attempt he's tried to do a pair for himself and decided to mimic these:  http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/salvatore-ferragamo-faraone-cap-toe-oxford-men/3096293?cm_cat=datafeed&cm_ite=salvatore_ferragamo_'faraone'_cap_toe_oxford_(men):299248&cm_pla=shoes:men:oxfords&cm_ven=Froogle&mr:referralID=NA&mr:trackingCode=306C71A7-33D6-DF11-8F9A-001B2163195C

For his own modifications from personal preference he wanted it to be pointier at the tip, used a tan leather, and medalion tip.

This is what he came out with:

Any critiques on the quality and craftsmanship?  Any comments on the shoe last, or tips for version2 ?
