Do you use a 'Dressboy'?

No, it isn't about cross-dressing, but about those things you hang your clothes on ready for the morning. Here we call them a 'dressboy' but they're also called a 'clothes stand' elsewhere. This sort of thing:

230

Or maybe this:

288

I have one and I have used it for putting out clothes ready for an evening out at the weekend. Out of the shower, a shave then clothes straight on. They used to be present in most of the hotels I used when going between Holland/Belgium/Germany, but they're less common now. I don't think I'd leave clothes out on one for the whole night at home.

No.

Double No.

That is probably the worst term I have ever heard; jrd has the right alternative. As for your question, I don't use one, although I'd like to get in the habit someday.

Yes, that's the name: a Clothes Valet. Thanks for that. No apostrophe necessary though.
