"Natural Selection" denim ?

After a week of research on the subject of selvedge denim, I finally went down to SoHo and picked up a pair of jeans at a store called Atrium. I decided on a pair of "Natural Selection" brand jeans, because it had the look and fit that I wanted.

Much to my surprise, however, there is virtually no mention of this brand on Style Forum. All I know is that (a) they are supposedly made in England, (b) David Beckham has been spotted wearing a pair [says a few sources off Google] and (c) at $225, they cost me almost three times more than the most expensive jeans I ever bought.

Anyone know anything about this brand? Here are some photos - if anyone can say anything about the quality / style based upon the photos, I'd appreciate some comments:

Jeez, nothing?

Bumping for just one more shot, mods.

Also gonna post a couple of pics I took. About one hour of wear in these photos. Still very, very tight around the waist at the time (the top button was hanging on for dear life), but it loosened up substantially after I sprayed water on the inside & outside of the waistband and stretched it out by hand (which produced some very cool-looking stretch lines at the waistband).

Sorry for a) the shitty photo quality, b) the horrendous Kenneth Cole square-toed shoes (they were my beater shoe for the office yesterday), and c) my wife's odd decision to photograph me in front of a garbage can.

Anyway, to my novice eyes, these seem like a great pair of jeans. I'm liking them a lot (although I wish the rise was lower and the legs were a tad bit slimmer at the calves). But I'd still like the input of denim aficionados as to the quality, style, fit, etc.

1) This probably could've gone in the "I have a jean..." thread.
2) They look fine, and they appear to fit you.
3) The leg opening is kinda wide, so they probably won't stack that well even after they're broken in. You might want to consider double-cuffing or hemming them.
4) We didn't need to see your back hair.
5) They look a little like KMW 1980s (based on the pockets and the slim-straight fit).
6) It's entirely possible that no one here has even heard of the brand, much less handled, much less owned a pair. There aren't many UK denim brands that are well-known around here, and this company could be very new and/or small.
7) They have some of the standard nerdy details - hidden rivets, donut buttons - that usually go into a well-made, nerdy pair of jeans (these are good things if you happen to care about them).
8) This forum doesn't focus on raw denim as much as it used to. There's an off chance you would get more traction in the superdenim sub-forum on superfuture, another forum similar to this.
9) You may not know this, but starting a new thread rather than posting in an applicable existing thread comes across as discourteous on the forum (the same holds true on superfuture).

That help?

re creating a new thread vs. posting in an existing one...

I considered that option, and apologize to the mods if I made the wrong judgment call. But this is an entirely new brand that hasn't been mentioned on the forum, so I thought I would do both the brand and the forum's denim connoisseurs a favor and create a new thread to bring these jeans to light (in addition to furthering my own interest in getting my questions answered, of course). I mean, if that doesn't justify a new thread, what does? Seems that almost any idea for a thread could conceivably fit into a pre-existing thread. Surely there must be some leeway.

And yes, that reply helped a lot, notwithit, thanks.

They look decent. I absolutely hate the big brown tag on the bottom of the back right pocket.

Agreed, I could've done without it. On the other hand, the leather patch is gorgeous.
