Another great "K" brand, Kirkland Signature

People here know my fondness for Kiton but this past week I decided to move a bit downscale. biggrin.gif

I picked up four pair of slacks at Costco for $49.95 a piece of the Kirkland Signature "fancy pants" type. These are surprisingly well made pants of good but not great Italian wool. So far I am impressed.

For those of you starting out in the business world, these are not too shabby for a basic daily pant for business casual. We are still warm here in Atlanta so slacks and a polo work well.

The waistband is rubberized, the cuffs are well done and the pant lining feels great on the knee.

An impressive pant for the price.

Don't get me wrong, I still love my Kiton, Brioni and Incotex but Costco has a home run here.

These do go really fast, at least in Atlanta so don't delay if you want to try them out.

My Kirkland shoe trees are cracking for the price.

If you ignore the brand name, Kirkland are able to beat almost any same-price mall brand for the quality.

This thread fits in perfectly with my mantra "everything is better at Costco." Anyone who's not a member should become one as soon as possible.

I did not know they sold trees. Will have to look for these.

I am a fan of the pants. I would purchase more pairs, but I've had trouble finding them in stock.

You're in ATL? Anyone seen these recently in Cincy?

I've bought quite a few of the Costco "fancy pants" over the years. I haven't seen any at my local Costco in several years. It sounds as if they have moved the price up some. For some years they were $40, then crept up to about $47, then reduced back to $40 with (I felt) some reduction in fabric quality. Hope the quality is back up with the higher price.

I'm against the idea of allowing polo shirts as business casual dress.

The quality seems pretty good so far. Heckuva deal for $50.

I bought a pair a couple years ago but returned them because the legs were huge. I was impressed with the quality but the cut was not good. How is the fit on the new ones?
