Mayweather Ortiz

Anyone else watch this crap?

Money is a total piece of shit, should have his victory overturned, and will get what is coming to him someday. Coward bitch sums him up.

The only consolation is that he will end up broke and in jail. Hopefully a bit of anal rape will await him there.

How do you figure he'll end up broke and in jail? The amount of press on his arrogance is second only to that of his incredible business savvy.

Everyone gets what they deserve. Intentional head butt...intentional sucker punch! Ortiz was the sucker! Rematch...mo money, mo money, mo money! If you don't fight for a living you have no point of reference.

First, let me say that I am disappointed by both fighters. I am a Mayweather fan, but I did not like what I saw.

Having said that, what Ortiz did was illegal, and what Floyd did was completely within the rules (although a bit unethical). Had it not been in the 4th round, Floyd would have won the fight (easily) anyway.

The long precedence set by men of his ilk. And he's facing charges and will continue to. Anyway, a man can hope.

Uhhh. . . it is not legal to sucker punch someone before the ref restarts the fight. Sure, Ortiz learned a lesson about keeping his hands up but that does not make what money did legal. The headbutt was illegal, sure. Looked intentional, might not have been. But it was within the context of the fight. Once the fight is stopped and the point taken, money can't just start swing b/c he feels slighted. I have no problem with a little dirty to get back, but it has to be within the context of a fight. Sucker punching a guy is a bitch move pure and simple. And it's illegal. The fight was stopped, the ref never restarted it.

Boxing is dirty and nothing will happen. Not even that good of a fight.

His follow up with the interviewer was just as bad. Total bitch move. money is a dumb punk and a total disgrace.

He would have won easily? Maybe. Maybe not. He should have tried to actually win it rather than punking out.

First and foremost, who the fuck hugs and kisses in boxing? Second, it's easy to say it's wrong when you haven't been headbutted illegally in the face. If some dude did that to me, I think my temper would flare a bit too.

And about the post fight interview? Larry Merchant has had his share of faux pas moments, so I hope you aren't honestly defending him, lol.

I think the true outrage is how much they charge per PPV order!

I've been headbutted in the face. money is a professional, he had enough time to chill out. Tempers flaring is one thing, what money did was a bitch move pure and simple. So is calling out Larry Merchant. Have some decorum. Again, the amount of faux pas LM has had is unimportant, money sucker punches a guy then starts crying because he's asked about it? Give me a break.

The real issue is that money sucker punched a guy before the fight was restarted. That is illegal and he should get a DQ.

icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif Floyd was just saying what every fighter out there was wanting to say to Larry Merchant, dude never gives anyone credit for what they do in the ring.

As far as how much they charge for PPV I have to agree it is ridiculous, I didn't feel like this was going to be a good fight so I was scrambling to find a stream online but the only boxing match I will pay for at this point is to see the Klitschko's fight each other or Mayweather vs Pac.

IMHO You are wrong in your opinion. You contradicted yourself. You call money a professional committing a bitch move. The bitch move was committed by Ortiz. In example: my temper gets the best of me and I head butt you; I suffer a deduction because of it...let that be the penalty. I don't need to follow that with a kiss and a hug. I hate moments of calm injected into hand to hand combat. Chill out??? You chill out when your title is on the line. Video games don't program in hugs and kisses. You won't see hugs and kisses in "Mortal Combat"

From what I understand, the fight was indeed restarted by the ref. The ref asked the time keeper if he heard him, making sure he understood that the fight had been started. So technically, what Mayweather did was within the rules. Ortiz had no shot either way. Floyd was picking him apart and it was only in the 4th round.

never watching boxing again.

NUMBER ONE RULE OF BOXING:KEEP YOUR GUARD UP.

All this did is show Ortiz is still young...you headbutt a man you touch gloves..Thats it. Ortiz hugged him tried to kiss him and take him out for Foie Gras...Floyd always had his guard up regardless... It was fair.
