its funny you mentioned dan henderson... because I used to follow him all the way back during his early early pride days (when he almost took out wanderlei silva during his unbeatable pride prime). the weird part part about henderson is that his least trained (even back during the early 2000's) skill was his most dangerous (his weirdly epic right hand/punching/potshot power).

henderson always had the "Puncher's Chance" built into his fights.

but mostly his fights were technical grappling fests that savvy fans truly appreciated, and his fights that ended in knock outs were kind of flukey wins/losses directly involvine his huge right hand.

I realize Dan henderson eventually KTFO-ed wanderlei silva later in pride with that punching power (but the axe murderer was glass jawed by then from his own epic battles).

and lastly with Dan Henderson? he was always a nice guy and never arrogant.... to bring it back around to Pretty Boy Floyd... PBF was legal and totally legit in his fight with ortiz... but he's such and asshole in every aspect that people just love to root for him to lose. I can see past PBF's asshole-ness... and see his genius in the ring...but damn it would be fun to have him lose that perfect record and eat crow.

Yup, a real class act, as was/is Wanderlei, glass jaw or not. Just because you are great doesn't mean you have to be a dick. It's pretty much the reason that people want to see Manny murder Floyd. It has nothing to do with race, whatever. It just has to do with the fact that one guy is always running his mouth, and seems to be running from this one fight, and the other guy is just a wierd but respectful guy,

I don't follow boxing. I watched the HBO 24/7 of Pacquiao/Margarito and it is just shocking to compare Pacquiao's behavior and demeanor to Floyd Mayweather. Mayweather is total scum and Pacquiao just seems like such a good guy.

Both are clowns. The only difference is that one is a clown who also happens to be a tremendous fighter.

I don't mind a boxer playing up the "bad guy" role. I think it's great for the sport. If there were only Manny's in boxing, it would be boring as hell. The problem with PBF is that he isn't a "bad" guy so much as a whiny, pompous jerk who seems uninterested in actually boxing, beyond making money and keeping his record intact.

There have been plenty of complete assholes in sport who I would still pay to watch (Pete Rose and Roberto Alomar come to mind) because they played hard and they cared about playing well. PBF doesn't give a shit about the sport or the show, which is why I find his diehard fans so pathetic. They're like clueless girls who keep waiting for their boyfriend to call while he's out banging some other broad.

So basically you don't like him because he's a "bad guy". Say what you will about Money Mayweather, but he trains hard and comes prepared and in shape to every fight. During the 24/7 HBO show Ortiz was fishing and chilling with his boys. Wtf does that when they're about to be in their biggest fight of their career that will make or break their reputation.

I said I dislike him because he ducks fights, puts on a bad show (especially lately) and doesn't seem to give a damn that boxing is going to hell in a handbasket and that he has a lot to do with it. He's a guy that could have given us a 12 round display of boxing brilliance against Ortiz. Instead he ended the fight with a pathetic and totally unsporting punch. He's a guy that could have given us a dream matchup against Manny, why i believe he can beat, yet chose to give us a ridiculous sideshow involving random drug testing and beating up his girlfriend.

As a fighter, I admire him tremendously. He trains his ass off and defensively he's without equal. Which is why his constant shenanigans and bullshit are even more frustrating.

Being someone who doesn't follow boxing but watched the 24/7 series and the fight, seeing Mayweather with 50 cent and his stacks of money BS, as well as seeing footage of him lighting a $100 bill on fire was enough for me to lose any shred of respect for him. More of the latter than the former, as I'd say if he wants to play a game with his buddy 50 that's no a big deal it just agitated me seeing him run his mouth more about all his money (a little humility goes a long way IMHO), but lighting cash on fire is just....

Believe me, due to his legal issues his stacks were starting to run low before he got back into the ring. Money needs to spend more time taking care of his cash and less time spending it on lawyers to defend him against domestic assault charges.

Never. Mayweathwer will never let this fight happen, period. He can say whatever he wants but I knew it would never, ever happen after he asked Pac's corner for a million concessions, which were for the most part agreed to, and he still backtracked.

This fight will never happen, I guarantee it.
