yeah i watched this film the other nite and it is pretty good, the fight scenes are amaing and have just the right amount of blood and gore :)

I loved the cinematic experience. Watching it at home isn't quite the same unless you have a ridiculously good surround stereo (none of that HTIB or Bose shit) and a large, high quality screen. Still one of my favorite movies of all time.

This was the 1st movie I watched in my just-completed media room. It was pretty amazing, and I have to think a good bit of that would be lost without a similar environment (big screen and great surround). Some movies don't require submersion in the film, this IMO does. I tend to pay a lot of attention to camera work, it's just something of interest. It was PERFECT for the story/atmosphere in this movie.

I love that movies like this still can get made, though it probably took a shitload of effort and someone like Gosling to make it happen. I definitely have my quibbles but it is a tremendous standout.

Great movie. More like a "hipper" Mann, though I didn't really like the bursts of violence.
