Hi kiya. I was wondering what you thought of shoe trees. Do you use them on your dress shoes? I ask because you are the leather expert. Thanks.

Cool, I can pay $165 to look like I just got released from prison.

I think they're good or keeping the shape of the shoe but i personally only use them with a pair of cordovan Aldens (white Leather Soul threw in some trees) and a pair of Tricker's which came with them. I don't know if i'd go and buy a set to use if those shoes didn't come with them. I honestly am not seeing the trees do a great job of keeping the creases at bay, but they're also supposed to be good at pulling out moisture from the inside of the shoe, which is not something i've ever had an issue with in the past.

My lame attempt at humor, apologies.

Hey all:

I recently came across a lightly used 3sixteen toggle duffel coat online. I've come across a M and a L. I read that they are slim fitting but wasn't sure if a M or a L would better suit me. I'm 6', 170 athletic build and wear a 40R jacket size consistently.

Thoughts?
