Any word on when the tan Wild Child wallet might restock?

@kiya - a shout out to the Self Edge folks in NYC (Andrew and Wesley), who were both just phenomenal when Ia few Sugarcanes and a couple of jackets I picked up recently.  Love the service, the detail, the quality.

Both jackets are in horsehide, and the only problem I have now is which one to wear - because I love them both a whole lot!

^^^ The rider's jacket from Flat Head with a semi-aniline finish is in warm brown, which I adore.

^^^ The William Gibson X Buzz Rickson's A-2 "Black Woods" jacket is awesome in its versatility - it looks matte and understated when not in direct sunlight, but when the light hits the horse hide it just sparkles with depth.

Thanks again for the awesome service and quality products!

Thanks for coming by the shop. By the looks of it you bought some of the best things we carry, especially that horsehide A-2. Wait until you see how that ages with some wear, they did a really great job on the leather treatment on that jacket.

Thanks @kiya - anything special I need to do to care for these leathers?  Any do's and don't's you recommend?

No need to condition these, wear them as-is for them to break in naturally. They don't really have any special care instructions.

Thanks much! Even better that they are so low maintenance. I seriously love wearing them.  I find it a challenge to pick which one to wear before I head out in the morning!

Roy "Roy Tapered" Modified Jeans - RT1002

Roy Slaper is back with a fresh batch of jeans.

This new release is a modified version of the "Big Bro" BB1002 jean. This version of the jean comes with traditional (and more common) back pocket shapes and riveting techniques. The fit is slightly different from past iterations of the Big Bro model, check the measurements for exact differences. The fabric on these jeans is a 13.5oz loomstate denim which Roy designed from the ground up. Cone did not have or could not produce the selvedge id thread color so Roy had another company manufacture just the single thread that goes through the selvedge line and had the thread shipped to Cone to use on his denim.

The warp yarns are made of a conventional American cotton while the weft is made of Supima cotton giving the fill threads an off-white caste. Supima is a longer staple cotton so we're thinking it will be less prone to stretching out and knee bagging. The fabric for the pocket bags were also custom designed and produced for this jean. They're an undyed (natural) ring-ring 3x1 twill that is loomstate and will be cut in a way where it shrinks with the jean. The pocket bags are a 10oz 3x1 cotton twill which is 100% ring spun, undyed, and unsanforized.

We don't believe we've seen a denim with this much character come out of Cone Mills before, the weave pattern is very unique and so is the shade of indigo.

Check the product page for full measurements, a full spec list, more info, and high-res photographs.

These jeans will go on sale on Saturday, March 28th at Noon (local time) at all four Self Edge stores and will also go on sale at 10am (PDT) on the same day in our online store.

I might have to pick up some of those Roy RT1002 in size 38. 3sixteen+ 11BSP fits me perfectly in size 38. I'm 6'5" with big thighs. My 11BSP is slightly more tapered than the measurements given for 11BSP on the web site. Would it be safe to say the RT1002 would also work?

Yup, sounds like 38 is your size in the new jean and should fit you well after a hot soak.

Thanks for the advice, I just bought the last (only?) 38, three minutes after they went on sale!
