Kiya, if I wear size 36 average joes, would I be able to fit a 36 imperial duke? Or would I be better off with the kings?

kiya, also looking for opinions on my fit if you get a chance. they weren't completely dry and i'll update it if there are any changes.

what kind of footwear do you suggest with the F380? i saw that sidney told a guy on SuFu that low-top chucks aren't a good idea. i can't post over there to ask for info.

well these kind of do now that i put them on and they're dry. i went on kiya's recommendation and got a 33 (i'm between 31-32 true waist and wear a 31 in prewash and 32 nudie dry fits perfectly). unless i hot soaked them wrong, they fit like they should after they've been worn a lot (i can pull them off without unbuttoning), maybe even slightly bigger. at this point, i'm not sure i want to keep them and i probably can't return them now. so....maybe i didn't soak them right. is regular hot water good enough or does it need to be balls hot from the stove? at this point i'd sacrifice fades or whatever with another soak just to know i didn't piss away $290. edit: in looking at pics, it's not completely horrible ( i guess i'll just have to cuff)....BUT the waist/upper portion is really roomy and won't fit right at all if it stretches out more than this. or maybe i'm just marsupialed and it looks good........i don't even know anymore.

Flat Head F380 VS Skulls 5010xx 6x6 VS Imperial King VS Nudie Average Joe

Which should be my next purchase? Any opinions on this? (After September, because of the no purchase in September thread!)

The numbers say the 5010xx are slimmer overall than the F380s, it's probably closer to a F310. I've been bored of Nudies as of late. Haven't taken my time to research the Imperials yet. kiya, any sales/coupon codes coming up soon to make way for fall/winter inventory?

I would go with the Kings, and once you get them pull them ALL the way up then try and button them, then once they're buttoned you can yank them down as they stretch..

No sales or coupons..
The store was already cleared out to make way for the fall collections without a sale so we didn't have a discount period..

hey Kiya and others..

I saw on other sites in Japan they have the FlatHead F370 bootcut jean. Is selfedge getting this?

Also, anyone know the measurements.. rise etc of this jean?

I can't even find any pics of it other than the ones for sale.. no model shots/worn shots etc.

We actually carry the 3007, same jean... you can place a phone order for it or do it via email, it's just not on our site.
The waist measures the same as most of the rest of the FH line, they shrink to tagged size.

The fit is pretty good, a little more shrinkage and you'll be golden. Try soaking them in very hot water, and them put them in the dryer for a bit. That will shrink them some more... you shouldn't lose to much dye. This is pretty tough denim, don't be scared to beat the crap out of it
