PRICE: US$ 375 325

Bought in Tokyo. Not a regular Boss (which are mostly fused), this is a Hugo Boss "Selection" line, Drop 6.

Fully lined. Black with subtle pinstripe.

Very light Napoli-style padding, suitable for summer and fall. Two buttons, Mother of Pearl buttons on sleeves and front, cuffed trousers, pick stitching details on lapels and pockets.

Please see pics for more, and ask me for measurements (different people prefer different type of measurements).

Some details.

AGE OF SUIT:
Purchased in Tokyo (Shinjuku Isetan) in 2007

MATERIAL:
Cerruti, 100% Virgin Lana, says Super 120s and feels very soft (similar to an Isaia I recently bought)

MEASUREMENTS:
Measuring an already made suit is an inexact science in my mind. I lay it on a flat surface and measure the distances from one point to another...

  • Tape all around the waist just above the two pockets: 103cm
  • Tape only on front, from left to right on a buttoned suit laid flat: 52cm
  • Shoulder one side: between 21 and 22cm (from top of shoulder where lapel starts to where shoulder starts)
  • From tip of left shoulder to tip of right shoulder: 48cm (tape is kept a straight line, not arched)
  • Full length from highest point on shoulder to the bottom of jacket: 86cm (with jacket kept as straight as possible)
  • "Pit to pit" (left armhole to right armhole): 51.7cm to 52cm depending on the jacket (note that this varies a lot depending on how one lays the jacket on the bed...but I kept it as naturally as possible, and the point under armpit I took is where the lining of the sides meets the armpits)
  • Waist of trousers: 34cm (and length wise, there's a lot of fabric including the cuffs to adjust)

Hope this helps.
