Basically starting from scratch for my tie collection, as I need to get rid of my old flashy ones from forever ago. Need conservative, bank-worthy neckties.

 

From browsing the forums, thetiebar seems like a good choice for inexpensive ties. Here's a few I picked out:

What do you think? Did I miss any 'traditional-need-to-have' ties? More solid colors? Other colors besides blue & red?

 

As an side: If you were to pick out 2 new suits to start off a wardrobe, would you go charcoal + navy or more of a charcoal + mid-gray combination?
