Review my first date outfit for tomorrow night..!

So are you even considering a tie? Here are my suggestions, not meant for each to be used, but balanced in a nice way:

Change the shirt, try a different color, if you have red gingham that might look pretty good, otherwise white and blue pin striped shirt might keep the blue more to a minimum.
Get a matching tie
Change watch to a leather strap or a canvas/grosgrain one
Change boots to brown/dark brown -something dressy but casual and looks god with the jeans
Matching belt is nice from what you say, but its hard to see yours in pics - I think a medium sized rectangle buckled belt would be a nicer touch than no buckle

IMO this is a much better date outfit:

I would never wear a tie to a first date unless you have come straight from work, and you wear a tie atthat work. Trying way too hard otherwise, especially at 23. I think your on the right track basically though.

OP, I think you look great, she will be impressed. I suggest putting aside the tie and undoing a few buttons. Ties are a bit intense on first dates.

Seconded. Outfit is good, comes across and smart yet not too serious. Im not too sure about the pocket squares though but that's just me. I feel that a date should be casual and fun without coming across serious.

Among the pocket squares the Japan's good.

Good luck and turn on the charm.

The japan square is better, the only thing I'd do is a puff rather than the TV fold. It looks more casual which is what you're going for

That's dumb^^^. Dude is 23 going on a first date. Unless he is coming from work and dresses like that, why would/should he go home and put on a suit and french cuffed shirt/links/tie for a night out???? GTFO!!

I agree that I was initially a bit over-ambitious in my footwear selection. It was definitely overwhelming for this outfit. I have just been eager to wear my new boots since I recently bought them. I am also going to opt out of wearing the Billykirk Triple Wrap because it's too much of an additional dynamic for my taste with the gingham pattern, etc.

After throwing a few things on I decided against the Wolverine 1000 miles and subbed in my black Cole Haan Oxford cap toes with a black belt.

I think i get the look you are going for, and like it. That said, that is a LOT of blue that you're wearing.

Me personally?

Tan jacket, same shirt, same jeans, BROWN shoes, simple captoe is fine, some broguing might be cool, and a navy ps with one polka dots.

Normally we see eye to eye, but on this I couldn't disagree more. A skin tight dress shirt, links and a tie to a first date? Its just far too formal, a little weird looking, and not at all approachable.

edit: Thought behind PS - The rest of your outfit is very 'clean', put together and symmetrical, make a casual fold to offset that

I get kind of annoyed at people on the forum sometimes. I feel like people try to dress OP's. This OP clearly has his own vision of what looks good and I think it is important to just try to steer them in a way where they look better, not just try to dress them like Mafoofan. Just because a lot of people don't like boots, or don't like blazer and jeans doesn't mean others don't. I find it very important to improve people's style and advise, not completely change. If they want to look more like an iGent, or a punk rocker, or whatever they will get there on their own merit.
