Option to get any BB Peal shoe as replacement for error.... not sure which of the following to...

So due to an issue I am being offered any Peal shoe I want (except cord), however I am not that familiar with the lasts or makers so have no idea which to pick, here are the ones I am considering:

All your links show the same thing: "Sorry"

Pick the shoes that you lack in your rotation.


I never understand this forum obsession with who makes what shoes for whom. They are all average quality leather with machine welts. Middle of the road quality English made shoes.

Thanks for the heads up, fixed it. As for the obsession about who makes what shoes, I am not so sure its an issue about quality as much as an issue of fit when dealing with these particular shoes. I have found my correct sizing with C&J (took a few tries), that works pretty much perfectly for me with the vast majority of their lasts.

With other makes such as AS I have no experience nor ever tried any of the lasts so I am a bit weary of picking a pair of those.

P.S. I love the shoes in your pic what are they?

I'd personally take either #2 or #4.

#1 leather looks plasticky, shiny and cheap.


I'm intrinsically against anything billed as "lightweight" when it comes to dress shoes.

The shoes in my avatar are from Paul Stuart........discontinued for a while now.....made by Grenson, I believe.

I think I like the look of #4 better than the rest but I am almost 100% sure I read somewhere that it is not C&J, whereas #2 from the pics def. is. Although I cannot tell the last from the picture.
