Are the shoulders to big?

I picked up a Paul Smith suit for a handy price and I am on the verge of getting the trouser worked on and perhaps the jacket tweaked or...... I plan to sell it on. The reason for the indecision is I really cannot work out if the shoulders are a little to wide for me or if I am being to fussy. I have been trying it on each evening and really cannot make my mind up. I happen to really like the fit, but aside to that I would really appreciate some outside opinions.

 

Please speak freely - are these to big, on the edge of being Dallas or no they are fine your just being to paranoid...

 

Ignore the trousers and the shoes, trousers will be tailored and a pair of oxford's would do more justice,

Kinda hard to tell from the pics, esp without a pick from the back....it doesn't look egregious to me. Within the bounds of stylistic acceptability. But if you like your jackets with closer shoulders, then this one won't be to your taste. If you care enough about it and have access to a good tailor, you can get the shoulders raised. Would probably cost $50-100.

Thanks all - will see if I can get better pics.

 

But sincere thanks for the feedback so far.

 

Going to go and chat with my tailor as its lovely suit and worth spending money if there is enough there for him to work with.

Don't mess with the shoulders. They look fine.

Edit: You should get some different shoes though.

based on the picture I think the shoulder looks too big. Based this on the right shoulder in the first 2 images.

Thanks everyone - I went to tailors today and he confirmed the shoulders were fine and the overall cut of the suit was good, so I left the trousers with the tailor for amendment.

 

I also spotted someone else with the slight same overhang / point and felt even more sure as you can't ask for a better candidate to determine a good suit fit:

Shoulders aren't terrible, but they look a bit bigger than they should. Also, I second reidrothchild's comment regarding your shoes.
