Quick question about the Aldridge vs. the Ludlow pants -- anyone know if there's a difference in the length of the rise? The site says that both are "straight through hip and thigh" (but the Ludlows have a narrow leg). Would that mean the same measurement for the rise?

Grabbed Wool Donegal Ludlow chargoal suit pants (J Crew never released a matching jacket, more's the pity): $250 to $99 final sale and 30% off = $70. I'll have my tailor keep the cuffs, but not bad. And navy weave wool bowery trousers for $69.99 to 29.99 to $21 final sale. Not a bad day.

A gent told me about the deal. The Red Wings work with the 30% off promotion. Ordered it using the red phone today and total was $152 or taxed. Not too shabby.

J.Crew's three-button jackets are actually fairly nice for the price. They're 3-roll-2, which I prefer to a two-button.
