From what I remember, it's use a pilot watch. Stowa and Steinhart make some better quality ones I am sure.

Still pretty baggy. I have two pairs of J. Crew shorts, but I've taken them to the tailor to get slimmed down.

My tailor tapers for $8.  I'm not in a big city though.

$10 for pants, $8 for shorts. Not expensive at all.

My tailor charges for 15 to taper pants. not sure about shorts. but i imagine it wouldnt be much less than $10 or 12. $15 for a smaller job seems a little high. but not way off.

I got the blue jacket in the mail Friday. I don't know if it is worth $200+ but I like it. I sized down to an XS (I usually get XS Jcrew shirts and S outerwear), and it fits pretty well. The small would have been a little baggie. The jacket is cut a little shorter than I expected, and hits just a little past my waist. They put a soft corduroy around the inside of the neck and wrists and the hood stows away into a pouch on the collar.

I've got 5 J Crew white v-necks in Medium I'd like to move, $70 for all 5. I thought I'd put it out here to the J Crizzle fans.

Purchased the new blue jacket from J. Crew today. I really like it. It's great for shorter guys length-wise. The only thing I've noticed while wearing it around is that it doesn't breathe particularly well. Anybody else notice this? Was thinking about picking this up instead as well.

I've been thinking about the Nanamica too. Anybody have any experience with it? Any insiders think it might make it to the first round of sales? (I'm thinking probably not unfortunately...)

you may find it cheaper getting it from one of the UK stores.
i got mine from superdenim when they had their 25% off sale and they declared a low value for customs so i didnt have to pay anything extra

Care to comment on the fit? I see J. Crew recommends sizing up. I wear a small in J. Crew shirts and a medium in Gitman. 38-39" jacket size.

Tried on the Nanamica today in store. You definitely have to size up one from your regular J. Crew size. Didn't fit as well (arm length too long) as the J. Crew blue jacket for me. Nice jacket, but don't think it was worth 2x as much as the J. Crew.

Anyone try on the new slim Stantons? Looking at purchasing the lagoon blue pair, but my local J. Crew only has the shorts. Need them for a wedding this weekend, so I'll have to overnight em :/ Thanks in advance!
